A tufted Indian Persian-style area rug. This Indian-made glossy wool rug is rendered in a palette of deep navy blue, coral, and gold. It features a large scale herati pattern of curvilinear palmettes and lancet leaves over a navy field. Framing the field are four borders, including a major border featuring herati palmettes and lancets over coral and two minor floral borders over pale sage. Edges are overcast on all sides. The rug has a full fabric backing and is labeled on the reverse.
