A antique Chippendale style poplar library table. This rectangular top poplar table with walnut stain includes a conforming glass top over a carved edge with two dovetail constructed drawers featuring brass tone escutcheons and eagle shaped plates with bail handles. The table top rises on six carved cabriole legs terminating on claw and ball feet. The knees of the legs feature acanthus leaf detail. There are no visible maker’s marks.
