An early 20th century, brass ship’s bell clock. This clock from the Chelsea Clock Company features roman numerals, two winds and pierced metal hands. The dial is set into a brass bezel in the shape of a ship bell with a hinged glass front and is marked ‘Chelsea Clock Co. Boston U.S.A. Ship’s Bell’ to the center. The clock is marked ‘Patented Dec. 31, 1091 No. 689899 Chelsea Clock Co. Boston U.S.A.’ to the back.
