A limited edition bronze sculpture by Erté (Russian, 1892-1990), titled Mystic. Roman De Tirtoff, known by the pseudonym Erte, is a Russian-born French designer who flourished in many fields including set design, fashion, and the graphic arts, spanning most of the 20th century. The bronze depicts an Art Deco female figure in a fur-trimmed dress with long trained gilt sleeves. The work was published by Chalk & Vermilion and Seven Arts in 1988. The work is numbered 291 of an edition of 375 to the train of the sleeve. The bronze is presented on a composite round base.
