Southeast Asian Rubbing of Battling Buddhist Demon Figures
Item Details
A Thai-inspired rubbing on paper after a work in carved stone. The piece depicts two Buddhist demon figures locked in battle, as a horse rears behind them. The unsigned work is presented under glass in a black wooden frame with a navy textile liner to the front and a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to Fair; staining along right edge of paper; faint blue lines across top of paper; scuffs to gold tone liner; fading to textile liner; scratches, scuffing and nicks to frame; tears to backing paper.
