A mounted transfer printed earthenware platter by J. Heath. This is in the Lake Ontario pattern depicting a Romanticized scene of figures in an idyllic landscape before a meandering river and rising castle. The octagonal rim features a light blue on white floral design. This is mounted against a white board and presented under glass in a gold tone shadow box frame that is wired for hanging.

- some minor surface wear to the frame.
