A 19th century leather bound illustrated The Parallel Bible. This bible was published by The Edgewood press in the late 19th century and includes The Old and New Testaments with over 2500 illustrations. The bible is bound in textured leather with gilt ornamentation and lettering to the cover and spine with gold tone page edges.

Condition

- wear to gilt; cracks to leather on spine; spine binding of front cover broken; back cover binding reinforced with tape; front cover also reinforced with tape and currently only thing holding cover onto book proper; edges of cover’s leather also damaged; front several pages have some damage to edges; front-most page half gone.
