Carved Wood Tamil Statue
Item Details
A carved wood statue of Tamil Thai. This traditional style wood carving depicts the standing figure of Tamil Thai, the personified deity of the Tamil language. The figure is carved from a plaque with a base on a stand, finished in black paint to highlight the gold tone carving. There are no visible maker’s marks.
