An original 20th century oil painting on canvas by German landscape painter Heinz Nehren (born 1919). The painting depicts light streaming into a picturesque forest landscape. A small stream curves across the scene, brilliantly reflecting the vivid light, and tall, thin trees rise across the scene. The painting is signed in-wet-paint to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with carved embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
