Mexican Milagro Cross Folk Art

A pair of Mexican milagro crosses. These votive ornaments are made of stained wood with gold-tone metal milagros representing various personal prayer requests. There are milagros depicting hearts, faces, hands, angels, mules, arms, and legs, and more. The smaller cross is signed ‘Cinda 93’ and the larger cross has an impressed mark which reads, ‘Estela Ogazon MEX’.
