A cast alabaster limited edition plate with figures in relief titled La Nativita by Italian artist Alberto Santangela. This highly detailed plate presents a scene from the nativity, with baby Jesus in a manger, mother Mary, and attendants. The work is exquisitely modeled, and is signed in mold to the lower edge, with information about the scene printed on an inset plate to the verso. The piece is marked number 214 in the series, and an original brochure with additional information about the piece and artist’s studio is included.

Condition

- Base plaque is separated from plate; slight scuffing to the edge of the piece.
