Murano Style Vase and Other Art Glass
Item Details
A collection of five art glass vessels. The featured example is from the Lavorazione Arte Murano which is a guild of artists who studied in Murano glass houses and make glass in that style , in Italy but not in Murano proper. The vase was made from hand blown glass having a swirled and mottled design in many pastel colors. There is a clear striated foot with pontil mark. The assortment also contains three other vases, all hand blown together with a scent bottle having a clear stopper, concave foot and polished pontil mark. There are several illegible signatures to the bases of the vessels.
