An acrylic painting on canvas titled Star by listed artist Bradley Narduzzi Rex (American b. 1967), created in 2008. The work features an abstracted scene comprised of white silhouettes depicting various curving forms contrasting against a light blue field. Name of the artist, title, date and text reading ‘Painted in Mexico City, Studio’ are inscribed to the verso of the canvas. The item remains unframed. Accompanied by a hardcover exhibition catalog from the artist’s 2008 solo exhibition, Lifted, at Borghi Fine Art Gallery, New Jersey (Artes Gráficas Panorama, 2008); this work can be found in the page 41 of this catalog.

Bradley Narduzzi Rex is known for his colorful abstract works reflective of billboard imagery. He received his formal education in architecture at Columbia University and the Tolentini School of Architecture (Venice, Italy). In the early 2000s, Rex transitioned from furniture design to painting. With an interest in urban landscapes, Rex turned to billboards for inspiration. His works seek to analyze the conflicts between the imagery projected and the messages transmitted from billboards. He has exhibited in several group and solo exhibitions throughout Mexico and New England. Many of his works can be found in private collections.
