A collection of sixteen mid-century Biblioteque Aldine Des Arts books. These are reference books, each book is dedicated to a modern artist. Artists from the impressionism, post-impressionism, abstract-expressionism, realism, cubism, and other art periods are included in this collection. A few artists featured in this collection include Fernand Léger, Hans Holbein, Chaim Soutine, Joan Miró, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Edgar Degas, Pierre Bonnard, Édouard Manet, and more. The illustration reproductions were printed on the offset presses by L. Delaporte. The letter press is that of Imprimerie Bellenand Paris, printed in France.
