1950s Marx Tin Litho Freight Terminal Playset

Item Details

A tin litho ‘Freight Terminal’ playset produced by Marx Toys in the 1950s. This tin train station building features colorful lithograph printing throughout, with a green roof, tan brick walls and a red brick platform, as well as details such as doors, signage and even a ticket window with a cashier. The terminal includes a tin vehicle ramp, a yellow plastic pedestrian staircase and a yellow tin barrel ramp, as well as various plastic accessories such as handcarts, barrels and suitcases. These pieces are marked ‘Made in U.S.A. Marx Toys’.
