A watercolor and ink painting on paper of a figure study. This painting depicts a nude woman who turns in slight profile and is rendered from a low vantage point with loose, gestural brush strokes. The composition has been tinted with a light lavender and mint green hue. To the lower left corner of the composition is a monogrammed initial ‘DL’, as well as a date (2003). The painting is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- residue to glass; wear to frame; frame could benefit from cleaning; paper backing wrinkled and scuffed.
