Framed Ecclesiastical Decor
Item Details
A low relief metal sculpture inspired by the betrayal of Judas at the last supper. This metal artwork from Spain portrays a version of the famous last meal shared by Jesus and bares the Latin words, ‘AMEN DICO VOBIS QUIA UNUS VESTRUM ME TRADITURUS EST,’ which translates: ‘I tell you, one of you will betray.’ Ecclesiastical signs are found throughout the lower border, as well as the name Lucas Joannes Marcus . The sculpture is housed in an elaborate gilded wooden frame with wire to verso.
