An oil painting on canvas of a chalet in the mountains, by listed 20th-century Viennese artist Oswald Arndt. This work features an image of a low white and brown building at the crest of a hill. Behind it rises a field of stony mountains. The painting is signed ‘Arndt’ to the lower left corner, and has artist information and a gallery tag to the verso. It has a W.T. Burger Co. stamp to the verso, and is not framed.

- fair; yellowing and crazing to varnish; dents along stretcher bars; lightly stained throughout.
