An offset lithograph on paper after John James Audubon, titled Pigeon Hawk. This print depicts a male and female pair of the titular birds nesting on a thin branch with leaves, one of which opens its mouth to let out a caw. To the lower margins is a printed inscription denoting publisher information, title and artist credit. The print is presented under glass beneath a wide mat in a brown and green wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to fair; some wear to the frame, scratching and chipping along the lower portion, upper left corner and lower left corner; discoloration and staining to verso.
