A paper collage titled Spinning War by American artist Sally W. Spiegel (born 1942). The piece depicts a field of floating clockwork gears with a wolf standing upon one and howling. The title of the piece is cut into one of the gears. This area is surrounded by a frame of fire. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right corner and dated ‘5/1/03’. It is mounted behind glass in a thin metal frame and wired for hanging.
