1930s Leedy Harpaphone/Glockenspiel and Case

A 1930s Leedy harpaphone/glockenspiel and case. This harpaphone features silver tone sound bars with the corresponding note engraved on its top. The harpaphone is presented in a black hard plastic case with a brown handle, black hardware, and a red fabric lined interior. Also included are two mallets, built in resonators, and a stand with casters. One sound bar is marked ‘LEEDY MFG, CO. ELKHART, IND’.

Condition

- rust and marks; case’s handle is heavily worn, scratching and nicks to case and harpaphone, and tears to fabric interior.
