Vintage Francesco Ruggeri Copy Full Size Violin and Case
Item Details
A vintage Francesco Ruggeri copy full size (4/4) violin with case. This instrument features a maple construction with an ebony fingerboard, a Becker’s chin and shoulder rest, an Etuna tailpiece and a wooden hard case with green velvet lining. The violin is double labeled within the sound holes, and these labels read "Copy, Francesco Ruggeri, Made in Czechoslovakia" and "Repaired by Carl Schmidt, Prague, anno 1872."
Condition
- consistent with age and heavy use; chinrest and tailpiece are detached but included, and there is finish peeling on outer shell of case. Does not include bow or strings.
