A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi carpet runner. The carpet runner displays five central medallions in shades of cream, powder blue, red, and white upon a red field. The field is patterned with bold floral and vine designs with a serrated edge along the spandrels. The compound border features a turtle pattern with florals in a complementary palette and has an overcast edge with a wool fringe and is not marked.
