A vintage needlepoint after A Young Girl Reading by Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806). This highly detailed, realistic piece presents a seated young woman in a yellow dress and ruffled collar reading a book. The work is initialed ‘J W 1976’ to the lower right, and is presented in a wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

- stains to linen liner to upper right; minor wear to frame.
