A selection of watercolors on paper of landscapes and waterways by Lahmann (1922-2014). Featured are eight paintings featuring pastoral landscapes, waterscapes, boats, bridges and villages. Three of the pieces are signed by the artist to the lower right. One is also matted and dated to 1960. The piece that shows a figure falling off the bridge has handwriting to the lower right: ‘From Pissarro’. Robert Lahmann was a mid 20th to early 21st Century Wisconsin artist known for his watercolor, gouache and acrylic paintings and drawings, largely landscapes and portraits.
