A framed vintage offset lithograph pin-up calendar page from the June, 1951, issue of Esquire magazine. The original artwork was created by Al Moore, a one-time player for the Chicago Bears football team, who was chosen to replace Alberto Vargas as the magazine’s pin-up artist. Nude Miss June covers her front with gold material that matches her hair ribbon. Her bare back is visible as she looks over her shoulder. A rhyme accompanies the June calendar. ‘In every tune, they rhyme moon, June,/A man needs something new:/Like sapphire-star, Cadillac-car—/And she might even go for you!’. Moore’s printed signature appears in red above her left foot.. The page has been mounted on gold with a white mat.and has been framed in a faux wood frame with a picture wire.
