Antowine Warrior Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "Storyteller"

A signed limited edition offset on paper after an original 1977 illustration by well-listed self-taught Native American artist Antowine Warrior, titled Storyteller. The print depicts an elderly man seated on a hide mat as young boys surround him, listening to a story he tells as imagery of hunters rises from the smoke of a pipe above them. The print is signed in-plate to the lower right and is signed and numbered 240/750 in pencil to the lower left. The original painting this print is after was the winner of the Wolf Robe Hunt Award for best traditional style Native American painting at the 1961 Annual Indian Artist’s Exhibition at the Philbrook Art Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The print is unframed, but is currently wrapped in acetate with cardboard backing for safekeeping.
