A pair of hand colored lithographs of street scenes. Included in this selection is a selectively colored image Proposed Elevated Railroad Terrace for Broadway, New York made by printmaker Samuel E. Brown (c. 1860) after a drawing by 19th century artist William Wade, depicting horse drawn carriages moving on and under an elevated roadway. Also included is New York City 1828 featuring a street view of Contoit’s New York Garden. This work is titled to the lower margin along with the notation ‘Broadway Between Leonard and Franklin.’ These prints are presented under glass in black and gold tone frames, and have wires for hanging.

- slight edge wear to frames; very light foxing to edges of prints.
