Haviland and Klingenberg Limoges Platters
Item Details
A pair of antique platters from Limoges. Featured is a Theodore Haviland tray dating to 1903 with decoration around the rims of small flower sprays. There is a printed mark for a Washington DC department store ‘Dulin & Martin Co’ as well as the printed ‘Theodore Haviland Limoges France Patent Applied for’ mark. The other tray was made by Klingenberg Limoges with a printed design, ribbon border and gilded decoration. The printed circular mark reads ’AK Limoges France and dates to 1895-1910.
