A hand-knotted Karaja wool carpet runner. The rug features seven medallions down the center of the field in a variety of styles in a palette of dark blue, powder blue, cream, and pink that sit on top of a deep red field. The field is populated by floral guls and abstract elements throughout in a complementary palette with a compound border. The border features a floral guard border with a primary border featuring an eight pointed star pattern throughout. It has overcast edges with a wool fringe and is tagged to the back.
