Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of an African elephant in an open field. This delicately-rendered work depicts the animal as seen from head on, its trunk lowered. In the background, feathery groves of trees and a low line of mountains can be seen. The painting is signed ‘Malee’ to the lower right corner, and is presented in a wooden frame with a chain to the verso for hanging.
