Acrylic Paintings on Black Velvet of Cowboy and Horse
Item Details
A pair of acrylic paintings on black velvet of a cowboy and a horse. Included in this grouping is a painting of a crouching cowboy, a lasso hanging loosely from his hands. It is joined by a a depiction of a lively Palomino horse as seen from the front. Each of these yellow toned paintings is signed what appears to read ‘ROA’ to the center of the bottom edge, and are presented in carved wooden frames with wires for hanging. The cowboy portrait is marked ‘Mexico’ to the bottom left of the verso.
Condition
- wear to both frames; dust throughout; Cowboy painting has some small areas of paint loss; Horse painting has significant abrasions and paint loss throughout; Horse painting loose from frame.
