Item Details

An antique Eastlake style 8-day clock by the New Haven Clock Company. This mantel clock features a wood casing with incised detailing and carved applique on a beveled base. The clock has a glass door to the front and a white dial with roman numerals, two winds and metal spade hands in a brass tone bezel. Below the dial is a pendulum with a dial to the center and an exposed mainspring behind the pendulum. The casing is labeled ‘8 Day Pruth. Striking. New Have Clock Co. New Haven Conn.’ to the back.

- minor cracks, marks, and chips to wood casing; heavy oxidation to pendulum; tested and not functional; key included.
