Sterling Silver Cherub Dish and Shell Spoon
Item Details
A sterling silver cherub dish and a shell spoon. This assembled pair features a small sterling silver dish shaped like a shell with a cherub playing a violin on one edge. It has a decal to the underside which reads ‘Plata Firmada Pedro Duran’. Along the underside of the shell basin is a mark that reads ‘Sterling 925’ with a cursive ‘F’ above it. The small spoon has a shell for the bowl and an openwork metal handle. The weight was not taken due to the presence of non-sterling materials.
Condition
- some tarnish and residue on plate; slight rusting to handle of shell spoon.
