An original large contemporary acrylic painting on canvas. The painting depicts a rancher on the back of a tall chestnut and white colored horse. The two stand in a Southwestern landscape, painted in highly-abstracted fields of paint seemingly applied directly with the artist’s palette knife to add texture and dimension. The painting is unsigned. It is presented in a large plein air wooden frame with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
