A 1950s woodblock print on paper by listed Japanese artist Kaoru Kawano (河野薫, 1916-1965). Titled Doves and Girl this depicts an abstract figure of a girl with long black hair under a peach bow, standing hands clasp against a black ground with three doves at her feet. It is signed in the lower right in graphite, with a red seal in the plate to the lower left. The print is mounted with a white mat, and presented under acrylic glass in a black wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- some slight edge wear to the frame.
