A reproduction cast marble bust with hand-patinated finish after Thalia, Muse of Comedy from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This sculpture depicts the head of Thalia, Greek muse of comedy and pastoral poetry and is modeled after a second-century Roman original. It is marked to the lower back ‘MMA 1989’ and has felt on the base.

Condition

- Back of the statue head has discoloration; wear consistent with age and use.
