A watercolor painting on paper by Massachusetts artist John Whorf (1903-1959). This depicts waves crashing onto the desk of a listing ship, watched over by fisherman dressed in yellow raincoats. It is signed in the lower right, and presented double matted under acrylic glass in a white painted wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- scratch to lower right of glass; 2" chip to frame at lower left; smaller chips and scratches to frame.
