Kolster Radio Cabinet, Circa 1920s

Item Details

A beautiful Kolster radio cabinet, circa 1920s. The radio is encased in a wood cabinet with crotch walnut doors and decorative wood appliques to the front and skirt. The piece rests atop reeded, turned legs. The inside of the cabinet includes a Kolster radio with an ornate, branded brass plate and three radio knobs. The lower portion features an enclosed speaker decorated with a pierced wood cover.

Condition

- untested, radio does not power on. Two wood pieces from the legs are broken off, see photos.
