A writing desk with additional drawers. This wooden piece has a rectangular top and sits on block legs connected on the narrow ends by straight stretchers to the bottom, forming an open square base to each side. It has two drawers, one to each corner under the writing surface, with gold tone Art Deco style shell handles, and a shallow drawer to the middle with no handle; it comes with two separate drawers with the same handle design. The desk and additional drawers have a crackled red on black lacquer finish.
