Japanese Inspired Embroidered Textile Landscapes
Item Details
A set of two Japanese inspired embroidered textiles. The woven textiles depict peaceful landscape scenes in light hues of green, blue, white, brown, yellow, orange and peach. Both include embroidered accents throughout. One depicts the torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine and the other a river scene with a mountain peak in the distance. The works are matted in taupe and presented under acrylic glass in black bamboo-motif wooden frames; the frames each include hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- surface scratches and edge wear to frames; slight cloudiness and debris under glass; foxing and fading to mats; some water stains and writing to frame backings; gallery stickers to frame backings.

- measures one frame; each visible image measures 14.5" W x 9.5" H.
