A limited edition mezzotint, titled Footsteps, by artist Frederick Mershimer. This print on paper depicts a colonial-style apartment complex seen from the street view, with snow covering an angled staircase with footprints impressed to the surface. To the lower margins is a handwritten signature, date (1990), title and print edition (19/200). The print is presented under glass beneath a triple-layered mat in a rounded, stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also affixed to the verso is a label for Summa Gallery.
