A Chinese calligraphy hanging scroll. The work presents three lines of black Chinese calligraphy. The fourth line is a secondary inscription reading “帝銮先生雅心, 陳廣伯” (Di luan xiansheng ya xin, chen guang ba), appearing to indicate that the work was rendered by an Imperial tutor. Two red seals follow the last line and a third occupies the upper right corner. The work is written on paper and mounted as a hanging scroll on cream brocade silk with wooden knobs.
- item shows wear consistent with age and use; some foxing to the silk.
