Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Ardabil runner. This rectilinear wool rug is rendered in a purposefully abrashed palette of red, cranberry, midnight blue, periwinkle, and ivory. It begins with six linked medallions over a red and cranberry field. Framing the field are three borders featuring meandering patterns over camel, brick-orange, and periwinkle. Selvedges are triple overcast, the rug finishing at either end with short ivory warp fringe. The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity.
