A hand-knotted Persian Qum area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of bright red, yellow, cream, and powder blue that sits on top of a deep blue field with a floral spandrels. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a carnation border and a primary border that features a pattern of birds and vases throughout in a complementary palette. It has an overcast edge and a wool fringe. Tagged to the back; comes with a certificate of authenticity.
