An antique sterling silver trophy chalice having a hand-chased grapevine with grape clusters at the circumference and medallions at each side. One medallion illustrates the California State Seal while the other states Awarded by the California State Agriculture Society to Miss F.A. Sargent for Oriental Painting, 1858. The trophy cup is otherwise unmarked. The total approximate weight is 4.283 ozt
