A signed limited edition lithograph on paper of an original illustration of a child by Edna Hibel (American, 1917-2015). This print depicts the bust of a child with curly hair and dressed in traditional attire. The print is numbered 416 in an edition of 420 to the lower left and signed by hand to the lower right. Mounted under a single layer of beige canvas matting and a gold tone fillet, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone and black wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and a decal from Hanson Gallery reading ‘international year child, description: child of Italy litho #416/420 (278)’ are present to the verso. Hibel is best known for her paintings and illustrations of mothers and children.
