Metal Content of pre-1965 quarters: 90% silver, 10% copper. Metal Content of 1965-1998 quarters: 75% copper, 25% nickel. Diameter: 24.3 mm. Weight of silver quarters: 6.3 grams (each). Weight of copper-nickel quarters: 5.67 grams (each). Conditions vary. Binder measures 8′ × 9 1/2′ × 1 1/4’.
