An oil painting on board titled Dancing Boat by Laddie Waters. Depicted is a group of people wearing red and yellow garments. They are dancing in the interior of a boat under a cloudy blue sky. This piece is signed to the lower left in paint. To the verso, the title is written on the board backing as well as on labels. Presented without glass in a wooden frame.

Laddie Waters received his formal training at other Maryland Institute College of Art. He is best known for his landscape and figurative scenes. Waters prefers an impressionistic style of painting with symbolic overtones. His work has been exhibited in the Baltimore Museum of Art, Peale Museum, Baltimore, and the Maryland Academy of Art to name a few.
