Two Antique Chinese Reverse Painted Glass and Metal Decanters
Item Details
A set of two Chinese antique reverse painted glass and metal decanters. The glass panels are reverse hand painted and feature various acrobatic or festival scenes, mounted in a tooled metal design. Decanters are a rectangular design and a square design. The vessel with three panels is marked ‘Yong Li Dian Tong’ (永利点銅). The rectangular vessel is marked ‘Chaoyang’ (潮陽) and ‘dian tong’ (點銅) meaning ‘ornamented metal’.
